Once, sources of petroleum, technological infrastructure and industrial products were accepted as indicators of country's power and prosperity. These days these criterions rendered their place to knowledge and information. In our world, where information is the only power, this notion is the only means of change and a vital vessel for competition and productivity. Countries are fighting on various platforms in order to gain this significant power. They are searching for the ways of retaining this preeminent power named information. While till recent the only requirement for production of technology was knowledge and funds, these days for generation, appropriate and duly use of information Information Technologies are required.

Societies exposed to changes and development as a result of significant improvements seen in information technologies sector for the past thirty years, now are experiencing a technological revolution with the development of wireless technologies, shrinking the dimensions of devises, decrease in prices and emerging of integrated devices also performing a function of a mobile telephone. Our objective is to create an atmosphere facilitating information exchange and cooperation with the purpose of promoting awareness of the world's significant changes and developments by bringing together all sections of society and shareholders of the information sector at Anfaş Computech Exhibition.

We have to raise our people so that they can understand this digital age in which everything changes and improves everyday.

For improving our country economically, socially and culturally, reaching the modern civilization level that was pointed by Great Atatürk and in order to make our nation have living standards it deserved and make it one of the positive, creative and exclusive partners of modern civilization by providing them all possibilities of modern world, we have to attach significant importance to education of our people at every age. In our country as well as in all developed countries, the projects and practices intended for use of technology in education are continuously sustained.

Thus, while we are trying to obtain an increase in quality and efficiency, we are also taking essential steps towards the availability of information for our children, their use of information and the circulation of information. Especially, thanks to rapid improvements in computer and communication technologies, and internet, easier and shorter access to precise information emphasizes the need for computer education.

Accordingly, opening in Anfaş Expo Center which is visited by approximately three hundred thousand people a year, the Anfaş Computech exhibition will cover a large shortage in information technologies and communication industry by reflecting the developments in these sectors to our people at every age.

We believe that the 2nd Anfaş Computech Fair organized by ANFAŞ will play a significant role in advertising information and communication technologies and generalizing regional and local use in our country. Besides that Turkey is developing in information and communication technologies industry, all citizens needed a digital take off via which they will be able to use these technologies. This need attaches a much more significant importance to that the users and potential users see and know these technologies, products and services closely.
